This pack of D'Addario NYXL1252W electric guitar strings includes a wound G-string, raising the tension a touch to meet the tone demanded by traditional jazz techniques and tunings as well as drop-tunings. On top of that, each string has been blessed with a high-carbon steel core to increase tuning stability by a mind-bending 131% when compared to standard nickel-wound strings - that means more time playing and less time tuning up. This pack includes gauges .012 to .052.
D'Addario NYXL Strings: Get Heard
Developed from the ground up in New York, the winding of the strings in this pack feature a new nickel-plated steel formula. This innovation raises the magnetic properties of the material by 6% - which is a really good thing, because it translates into a mid-frequency boost in the 1 to 3.5kHz region, giving your guitar sound extra presence, extra output and extra punch.
